# Call Campaigns

> Automated outbound calling at scale

A call campaign takes a contact list and an agent, then places calls to every
contact within a scheduled window — with pacing, retries, and guardrails
handled for you.

## Creating a campaign

Pick an agent, upload or add your contact list, and set a schedule — start
date and the hours during which calls are allowed to go out.

## Auto-retry

Failed attempts (no-answer, busy, failed) can be retried automatically, up to
a configurable number of attempts with a delay between tries. Retries respect
call-hour windows — a retry due outside the allowed hours is deferred to the
next window.

## Guardrails

Applied automatically to every campaign:

* **Concurrency cap** — respects your plan's max concurrent calls
* **Call-hour windows** — calls only go out inside the scheduled hours
* **DND / opt-out lists** — opted-out numbers are excluded from future campaigns
* **Per-number attempt cap** — prevents repeated same-day retries to one number

## Monitoring

Track campaign progress and a summary of outcomes from the dashboard in real
time.
